Carpet Dyeing Solutions

As a wear-resistant and decorative textile for home and commercial use, carpet dyeing must not only ensure bright and saturated colors, but also have good fastness properties, especially abrasion fastness, washing fastness and light fastness. Different types of dyes are recommended for carpets of different materials to achieve the best dyeing effect and performance.

Wool Carpet

Wool fiber has a natural protein structure and has a good affinity for acid dyes.
Applicable products: Skyacido® Wool Series, suitable for dark and light color dyeing, with both economical and high fastness performance
Features: strong dyeing power, bright colors, good permeability
Additives: It is recommended to use acid fixing agent and acid leveling agent

Polyester Carpet

Polyester and its blended carpets need to be dyed with high temperature and high pressure disperse dyes due to their dense structure and poor hydrophilicity.

Recommended series: Skycron®disperse dyes series, including high light fastness and high friction resistance dyes

Features: Suitable for polyester fibers, high dyeing rate at high temperature, good color fastness
Optional auxiliaries: high temperature leveling agent, anti-migration agent, to ensure uniform color and no color flowers

Acrylic Carpet

Acrylic is a highly hydrophobic synthetic fiber that needs to be dyed with cationic dyes to achieve bright colors.

Recommended series: Skyzon® cationic dye series, suitable for medium to light to dark tones, pure color development

Dyeing conditions: Dyeing under acidic conditions, pay attention to controlling pH and temperature to avoid color flowers or precipitation problems
