Skycron® Disperse Dyes

Skycron® Disperse Dyes

DISPERSE GENERAL

Skycron® E

Low-temperature disperse dyes (115-120°C) have excellent leveling and compatibility, excellent light fastness, but low washing and sublimation fastness, and are very suitable for light color dyeing.

Skycron® SE

Medium-temperature disperse dyes (125°C) offer properties between E-type and S-type, balancing leveling, compatibility, and fastness.

Skycron® S

High-temperature disperse dyes (130-135°C) offer excellent color fastness, compatibility, and uniform dyeing rates. For Disperse Blue 79, maintain PH 4.5-5.5 for optimal performance.

ADVANCED

Skycron® CC

Excellent compatibility, high build-up, and cost-effective dyeing, ensuring high productivity and superior color fastness for microfiber fabrics.

Skycron® Plus

Ensures deep shades, uniform dyeing, and high productivity with excellent color fastness.

Skycron® P Type printing

Ideal for disperse printing, offering good sublimation resistance, excellent dispersion, deep build-up, and bright, blendable colors.

Skycron® Fluorescent Dyes

Give the fabric super bright color and very visual impact feeling

High Light Fastness

Skycron® HLF

Have excellent light fastness ,can reaches the 4th level of the American standard of 60,120,200 hours

Why are disperse dyes the standard choice for polyester dyeing?

Disperse dyes are the standard for polyester because polyester is hydrophobic and has limited affinity for water-soluble dye classes. Disperse dyes are small, relatively non-ionic molecules that can diffuse into polyester when the fiber structure opens under heat, making them the practical dye class for polyester coloration in production.

Which synthetic fibers can be dyed with disperse dyes?

Disperse dyes are used primarily for polyester, but they are also applicable to other synthetic fibers such as acetate, nylon, spandex, and certain specialty synthetics, depending on the substrate and process route. For B2B buyers, the key point is to confirm fiber composition and process compatibility before shade approval or bulk use.

What temperature range is required for disperse dyeing of polyester?

Disperse dyeing of polyester requires elevated temperature because heat increases dye diffusion into the fiber. One industrial supplier notes a minimum of about 160°F and better results around 190°F for its low-energy polyester dyes, while conventional polyester dyeing in mills is commonly carried out at much higher high-temperature conditions.

Are disperse dyes suitable for polyester blends?

Yes. Disperse dyes are suitable for polyester and polyester blends, but blend dyeing must be matched to the second fiber component. In practice, polyester-cellulosic or polyester-synthetic blends often require a coordinated dyeing system so each fiber receives the appropriate dye chemistry and the final shade remains balanced.

What fastness properties should buyers check before ordering disperse dyes?

Buyers should focus on the fastness properties that matter in the end use, especially wash fastness, light fastness, and rubbing fastness. Beyond headline fastness ratings, they should also assess staining behavior, shade reproducibility, and overall process robustness, since these directly affect claim risk, rework, and bulk consistency.
